Bored at a party? Just go cellphone happy...
So, got yourself an invite for a fancy party, have you? And how to gauge whether the do you're at is a success or a wash out? Simple; if the shindig you're at is as dull as dishwater, you'll find most of the guests glued to their mobile phones, either chatting or texting away. Now, that's a sign of terminal boredom.

"The more bored you are, the more stuff you do on your cell phone," laughs actor Aarti Chabria. "Sometimes, at parties I've seen people getting so bored that they start playing mobile phone games! And now with cell phones getting so funky, chances are your cell phone is going to keep you better company than some of the people there," she laughs.
Even some of the most interesting parties tend to get boring if you don't know too many people around. "When I get bored at a party, I start texting people to find out if there's a better party happening elsewhere ," says club owner Rishi Acharya.
For many, what starts off as a way to kill boredom at Page 3 dos also ends up becoming a fixation.
"And ever since I've got my new phone, whenever I'm bored at a party, I'm either sending out messages or playing golf. A boring party makes time for you to delete old messages!" says model Tupur Chatterjee, who considers boring dos a time to 'un'clutter her mailbox.
